Information for New Families

Starting school is a big step and can be both challenging and exciting for parents as well as their child.

Enrolment Requirements

Children who will reach the age of five years on or before 30th April may commence school in January of that year. An enrolment form may be obtained from the school office or downloaded here.

On first enrolment of a child, a Full Birth Certificate must be produced as proof of date of birth. An immunisation certificate, received from the Immunisation Register, is also required to be presented on enrolment.

Click here for information about the School Entry Immunisation Certificate.

For further information about immunisation go to www2.health.vic.gov.au/immunisation.

Go to the Transition page for information about making the transition from Kindergarten to School.

Enrolments other than Foundation (Prep)

Individual visits by families of prospective students from other grades are most welcome. An appointment can be made any time.

Prep Arrival and Dismissal Times in February

In February, Prep children will spend all of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at school.  Wednesday will be a rest day at home. However a child may be collected earlier as deemed necessary. Any additional arrangements will be made between the classroom teacher and parents/ guardian.
