Initial
Visits
We
provide initial visits by the RAAF Kindergarten for the
children to participate in activities and to get to know
all current students.
Individual
visits by families of prospective students are welcomed
and an appointment can be made at any time.
Orientation
Days
Students
are invited to attend orientation days in Term four. These
are full days which occur once a week over a period of eight
weeks. This preparation enables new preps to begin the school
year ready to attend on a full day basis right from the
start.
These
early weeks are spent in the classroom and for two afternoons
per week the students attend the local swimming pool at
Stratford. Here they are trained by fully qualified instructors.
School
Uniform
It
is strongly recommended that all children wear school uniform.
All items are available in the local stores.
For
the occasions when it is not possible to wear school uniform
children are expected to be dressed in sensible clothing.
This excludes such articles as leotards, frilly party dresses,
halter tops, skimpy shorts and thongs.
